FORWARDS

Sebastian Giovinco, TOR v. CHI ($11,300): Giovinco comes in hot, with a goal or an assist in four straight, and he's just a week removed from a 17.5-point outing against the same Chicago team he's up against Saturday. Toronto have dug themselves a hole with uninspired play over the first half of the season, which means we can expect Giovinco to continue to fire at will with TFC in desperation mode as they fight for a playoff spot.

Kei Kamara, VAN v. MIN ($8,600): Kamara bagged a brace and topped 27 points in his last home game, and while he's failed to score in two straight appearances since then, he's still been putting up respectable point totals through his high shot volume combined with a dusting of crosses and fouls drawn. Up against a vulnerable Minnesota backline, there's no reason to think Kamara slows down against the Loons.

Wayne Rooney, DC v. COL ($8,500): Rooney came off the bench in D.C. United's midweek loss to the Red Bulls, and he's still searching for his first MLS goal after three appearances. Enter the Rapids, who have conceded at least two goals in four of their last five road games. Despite coming off the bench midweek, Rooney was recently named D.C. United's captain, and he should start against Colorado on the backend of their double gameweek. Everything points to England's all-time leading goal scorer opening his Major League Soccer account against the Rapids on Saturday.

MIDFIELDERS

Diego Valeri, POR v. HOU ($10,600): Valeri continues to churn out the fantasy goods, averaging 20 points per game over his last four outings. He racks up the points in a hurry through shots and crosses, and -- at home against a Houston team that were just breached for three goals at home by Philadelphia -- the 2017 MLS MVP is in a good spot to keep the fantasy points flowing.

Valeri Qazaishvili, SJ v. RSL ($7,700): Vako topped 16 points in Wednesday's loss to Seattle, an impressive total given he didn't have a goal or an assist. He's become San Jose's preferred set-piece taker and has shown that he can produce a serviceable score even if he doesn't make an impact on the scoresheet.

Alphonso Davies, VAN v. MIN ($6,600): Davies will be making his first appearance since signing a record-breaking deal with German giants Bayern Munich on Wednesday. The 17-year-old phenom already has three goals and eight assists on the season and with the world watching, he's in prime position to flash his abilities at home against Minnesota.

DEFENDERS

Marcel De Jong, VAN v. MIN ($4,900): De Jong has topped double-digit fantasy points in each of his last four home appearances, logging three assists over that span. He's never shy about joining in on the attack down the left flank, and with a big target like Kamara in the box, there's always a good chance De Jong swings in multiple crosses.

Shea Salinas, SJ vs. RSL ($4,200): Salinas lined up in the midfield Wednesday, sending in nine crosses en route to 11 fantasy points. It's yet to be seen if he continues to be deployed higher up the field, but given the uptick in crosses, Salinas is worth looking for when lineups are announced.

Adam Lundqvist, HOU at POR ($3,500): Lundqvist is never a sure thing to start, but he's always worth keeping an eye out for given his potential for taking on a share of Houston's set pieces. The matchup at Portland isn't ideal, but if he's in the starting lineup again he deserves consideration due to his set-piece appeal and low price.

GOALKEEPER

Alex Bono, TOR v. CHI ($5,800): Bono got a win on the road against Chicago last week and, as mentioned above, Toronto are in a borderline must-win spot down the stretch if they want to make the playoffs. The opportunity for saves isn't great, but if we're just looking for someone to get us the win bonus, with a good possibility of a clean sheet too, Bono's the guy.
