NASCAR restored the membership of Josh Reaume and Wallace on Wednesday, saying that each driver had "successfully completed the terms and conditions mandated for reinstatement."
ANALYSIS
Wallace was indefinitely suspended by NASCAR September 10 of last year for social media posts that violated NASCAR's conduct policy. The veteran driver has gone through the sanctioning body's prescribed conditions and terms to meet reinstatement. The 62-year-old driver has been a part-time driver in the Xfinity Series the last several years.

Wallace tallied one Top-10 finish and a 12th-place finish in the final driver standings of 2012. He will come back for an impressive 24th year of racing in the Nationwide Series. Wallace returns to the seat of the No. 01 Chevrolet, and to basically the same team he had at the end of last year. He claimed 17 Top-20 finishes last year, so while Wallace wasn’t leading laps and picking up Top 10’s he was generally staying on the lead lap and racing competitively. We should be in for an eye-full of the same in 2013. Wallace has always been a steady performer on the larger ovals.

When Wallace developed a heart issue that resulted in triple bypass surgery in April 2015, it left the veteran NASCAR driver with unfinished business in his racing career. Now, nearly four years later and fully healthy, the 59-year-old brother of NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace and Kenny Wallace hopes to finish some of that business in the 2019 season with Rick Ware Racing, NBC Sports reports.
