Receives new opponent

Hawes will face Chris Curtis in a middleweight bout at UFC Fight Night on Saturday rather than Deron Winn (undisclosed) as previously scheduled, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
Hawes and Winn were originally slated to fight in July, but a rib injury to Winn led to things being pushed back. Unspecified health issues led to Winn withdrawing again for Saturday, leading Curtis to step in on short notice to make his UFC debut. Hawes has yet to lose in UFC and last fought Kyle Daukaus in May, whom he defeated via unanimous decision.
