Mandy Bohm

Not competitive in UFC debut
September 18, 2021
Bohm lost to Ariane Lipski via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Bohm appeared hesitant and over matched in her UFC debut. She generated very little offense against Lipski, connecting on just 47-of-123 total strikes, good for a woeful 33 percent clip (unofficially). All things considered, Bohm was lucky to see the final bell considering Lipski knocked her down a single time in each of the final two frames. This fight wasn't actually as close as the scorecards would lead you to believe. Bohm's previous fight prior to Saturday was in Bellator, but prior to that she had never fought for a major promotion, and it appears pretty clear after this one that her undefeated pro record was the result of facing subpar competition. There isn't much to see here.
