Stuns Devonte Smith at UFC 241
August 17, 2019
Worthy defeated Devonte Smith via TKO (punches) at 4:15 of Round 1 at UFC 241 on Saturday in Anaheim.
Now that's how you make an impact! Making his UFC debut on four days' notice and fighting his former friend and training partner, Worthy destroyed Smith with one big combination and referee Jason Herzog was quickly forced to intervene. The odds are astronomically high that this will go down as the highlight of Worthy's UFC career, but he deserves his moment in the sun, and the 32-year-old will also take home a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his efforts. "The Death Star" has officially arrived.

UFC debut set for Anaheim
August 13, 2019
Worthy will step in to face Devonte Smith at UFC 241 on Aug. 17, Nolan King of reports.
Much like Clay Collard would have been, Worthy figures to be a massive underdog against a hot prospect in Smith. The two both rely heavily on KO/TKOs, with Smith having won nine of his 10 fights in that fashion and Worthy notching seven of his 12 in the same way. It wouldn't be shocking if this fight ends early, but Worthy will look to make the most of his opportunity.
