Evloev defeated Enrique Barzola via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Singapore.
ANALYSIS
In his second UFC fight, Evloev managed to show a well rounded game. He landed 71 significant strikes and four of his 11 takedown attempts. Coming into this fight, Barzola had only been taken down once. The final round was close as Evloev edgeded Barzola 31 to 30 on significant strikes, but in the end it was enough to take the decision. Evloev seems to be going places as a featherweight prospect, but as always, the division remains overly deep.
