Remains winless in UFC career
WelterweightUFC
October 12, 2019
Aldana lost to Miguel Baeza via TKO (strikes) at 2:32 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Tampa.
ANALYSIS
A third straight loss to begin his UFC career figures to be Aldana's final opportunity with the company. He was actually fairly competitive in Round 1, but his inability to check a low kick from Baeza led to his downfall. Aldana's leg finally gave out and Baeza was there to pick up the pieces. Aldana wasn't viewed as a prospect when he joined the company in June 2018 and those guys rarely get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to being given an additional fight.

ANALYSIS
Undefeated prior to signing with the UFC last summer, Aldana has dropped both of his fights since signing with the promotion and will look to get back on track in Tampa. The 31-year-old will be taking on a UFC newcomer in Baeza, who was awarded a contract back in June as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series.
Loses unanimous decision Saturday
WelterweightUFC
November 17, 2018
Aldana lost to Laureano Staropoli via unanimous decision (27-30 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night 140 on Saturday in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
ANALYSIS
Aldana was expected to press forward and throw big shots in this one but a nasty cut over his eye that occurred early in the contest limited his vision and his offense. While he was able to land his share of hard shots, he was beaten to the punch by Staropoli, who took the role of advancing fighter from Round 2 onward. Aldana falls to 4-2 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.

Aldana will take on Laureano Staropoli in a welterweight matchup at UFC Argentina on Nov. 17, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Aldana dropped his UFC debut to Kenan Song in June, but was 4-0 as a professional before entering TUF: Latin America in 2015. He did throw solid volume -- 4.00 significant strikes per minute -- before suffering defeat, so there is some fantasy upside here. This time around, he'll draw a native of Buenos Aires in Staropoli that is making his UFC debut.
Drops UFC debut in Singapore

June 23, 2018
Aldana lost to Kenan Song via TKO (punches) at 4:45 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Singapore.
ANALYSIS
Aldana started out strong, but Kenan landed the harder strikes and eventually finished the fight. While Aldana had the advantage in terms of volume, Kenan picked his spots well. In the second round, Kenan floored Aldana and finished the fight on the ground. This was his first fight since "The Ultimate Fighter," and now he has started his run with a loss.
