Leaves UFC for Bellator
WelterweightBellator
August 5, 2019
Pedersoli announced Monday via his personal Instagram account that he is no longer affiliated with the UFC and has signed a contract with Bellator MMA.
ANALYSIS
Pedersoli went 1-2 during his time with the UFC, with his most recent fight coming in February, when he took a first-round loss in Prague against Dwight Grant. The welterweight will likely have a better chance of getting back on track while dropping down to a lower level of competition in the Bellator ranks.

Heavy counter shot leads to end
WelterweightBellator
February 23, 2019
Pedersoli lost to Dwight Grant via TKO (punches) at 4:59 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night 145 in Prague, Czech Republic on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Pedersoli seemed to be doing well in the first round, using his kicks and wrestling game to keep Grant on the outside. Everything changed in the final seconds of the frame, however, as an awkwardly thrown kick led to a huge counter shot that put him on the canvas and led to the finish. Pedersoli has a solid MMA game and a good idea of how he wants to fight but this is the second fight in a row where we have seen him melted by a quicker, more powerful athlete, which may suggest he will struggle against more explosive fighters. He falls to 11-3 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.
Lands on UFC Prague card

February 6, 2019
Pedersoli will fight Dwight Grant at UFC Prague on Feb. 23.
ANALYSIS
"Semento" is coming off his first professional loss since December of 2015, but things won't be easy in his next fight. Pedersoli is at a disadvantage in terms of height (two inches shorter), reach (one inch shorter) and leg reach (four inches shorter). The 25-year-old does have more pro fighting experience though, which is something he'll look to parlay into a victory later this month.
Lasts 39 seconds against Alex Oliveira Saturday

September 22, 2018
Pedersoli lost to Alex Oliveira via KO (punches) at 0:39 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
ANALYSIS
Pedersoli's moment in the sun lasted all of 39 seconds. A 25-year-old with an unexceptional background, Pedersoli was inserted into the co-main event slot after Oliveira's original opponent Neil Magny was yanked to headline a future card in Argentina. Let's just say Carlo didn't take advantage of his opportunity. His UFC record falls to 1-1 after Saturday's setback.
Joins UFC Sao Paulo card

August 28, 2018
Pedersoli will face Alex Oliveira at UFC Sao Paulo on Sept. 22, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Pedersoli (11-1) will replace Neil Magny, who was recently moved to UFC Buenos Airies, in the bout. He defeated Bradley Scott via split decision in his Octagon debut back in May. Overall, "Semento" has won eight straight fights since 2016, and will look to carry that momentum into his match with Oliveira, where he'll be the younger fighter with roughly equivalent measurements.
Wins Octagon debut via split decision in England
WelterweightBellator
May 27, 2018
Pedersoli defeated Bradley Scott via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Sunday in Liverpool.
ANALYSIS
Pedersoli was impressive in his Octagon debut. He seemed tight to start the fight, and he got dropped by a straight left hand towards the end of the first round. After getting knocked down he seemed to wake up and became more active with his striking in the second round. He had great success with a left body kick in the second round and landed it on a regular basis. "Semento" mixed in jabs to keep Scott guessing and had an obvious speed advantage. The UFC newcomer completed a beautifully timed takedown to end the second round and secure the round on the judges scorecard. The third round brought more of the same as Pedersoli was in and out before Scott could find him with strikes and landed a lot more significant strikes than the UFC veteran. Pedersoli looked great in his Octagon debut and is an interesting new prospect in the welterweight division.
