Still searching for first UFC win
WelterweightUFC
August 3, 2019
Touahri lost to Mickey Gall via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC on ESPN 5 on Saturday in Newark, New Jersey.
ANALYSIS
This was a razor thin fight, but facing a New Jersey native in Gall, Touahri was in trouble the second this thing reached the judge's scorecards. Numbers wise, Touahri did fine. He stuffed 6-of-7 takedown attempts from Gall and landed just one fewer (66-65) total strike. The big issue for Touahri was that he started slowly and finished slowly and that's never a good thing in a fight that sees the finish line. It's rare that a fighter who drops his first three UFC bouts gets a fourth chance with the company, but Touahri deserves to be the rare exception.

Fighting Mickey Gall in Newark
WelterweightUFC
July 9, 2019
Touahri has been booked to fight Mickey Gall in a welterweight bout at UFC Newark on Aug. 3, Alexander K. Lee of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It was originally reported that Touahri would be going up against Zelim Imadaev in this event, but the UFC made it official Tuesday that Gall would in fact be his opponent. Regardless, Touahri is still on the hunt for his first victory under the UFC promotion after back-to-back losses via decision against Warlley Alves and Keita Nakamura over the last two years.
Facing Zelim Imadaev in Newark

June 25, 2019
Touahri (10-3-0) is slated to take on Zelim Imadaev (8-1-0) in a welterweight bout at UFC Newark on Aug. 3, Nolan King of MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The matchup features two fighters still looking for their first promotional victory. In Touahri's case, he'll be looking to bounce back from back-to-back losses via decision to Warlley Alves (in October 2017) and Keita Nakamura (in December 2018).
Slowly fades in loss to Keita Nakamura
WelterweightUFC
December 1, 2018
Touahri lost to Keita Nakamura via split decision (27-30, 29-28, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Adelaide, Australia.
ANALYSIS
In search of his first UFC victory, Touahri was unable to capitalize on his quick start. He slowly allowed Nakamura to regain control of the contest as the bout progressed and Touahri was credited with just seven total strikes landed in the third and deciding frame. It was another lousy effort from the 29-year-old on the heels of his unanimous decision setback to Warlley Alves in his company debut in October 2017. It's more likely than not that Touahri doesn't get a third opportunity with the company.
Loses UFC debut in Poland
WelterweightUFC
October 21, 2017
Touahri lost to Warlley Alves via unanimous decision (27-30, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night 118 on Saturday in Poland.
ANALYSIS
Touahri landed at a decent clip in the first and second rounds but was rarely taking the initiative and largely throwing single shots, allowing Alves to pick up the victory on pace alone. Touahari was riding a five-fight winning streak coming into the fight but will need to show more in order to advance at the highest level.
Replaces Jim Wallhead for UFC debut
WelterweightUFC
October 17, 2017
Touahri will face Warlley Alves in welterweight fight at UFC Fight Night 118 on October 21 in Gdansk, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Touahri has agreed to step in as a last-minute replacement for Jim Wallhead, who was forced to withdraw from UFC Gdansk with an undisclosed injury. The 28-year-old will make his promotional debut in his native Poland. "Grizzly" is on a five-fight winning streak, four of which came via KO/TKO before the end of Round 2. Touahri maintains a 10-1 record overall.
