FantasyDraft NHL: Tuesday Values

This article is part of our FantasyDraft NHL series.

GOALIE

Pittsburgh Penguins, PIT vs. OTT ($16,300): The Penguins have been hot recently, posting a 7-2-1 record in their last 10 games. They've also managed a 20-7-1 record at home this year. Meanwhile, the Senators are 7-15-4 on the road and have only managed 2.63 goals per game. Matt Murray is still trying to find his footing, but this is the kind of matchup that could help make that happen.

CENTER

Sean Couturier, PHI vs. NJD ($14,500): Couturier has been on a tear all season and has six points in his last three games. The Devils have a 3.02 team GAA, but at the moment they are also without Cory Schneider. That leaves Keith Kinkaid (3.29 GAA, .892 save percentage) to shoulder the load in net.

Pierre-Luc Dubois, CLM at NYI ($8,900): DuBois has started 66.1 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, most on the Blue Jackets. He's also notched three points in his last four games and 24 shots in his last eight contests. The Islanders have a woeful 3.67 team GAA, which is the worst in the NHL by a wide margin.

WING

James Neal, VGK vs. CHI ($13,300): Neal has 24 goals in 55 games and has two goals on 13 shots in his last four contests. The Blackhawks are on the road for the second night of a back-to-back, and with Corey Crawford out, they have issues in net. Both Jeff Glass and Anton Forsberg have struggled this season and neither pose much of a threat to Neal.

Kevin Labanc, SAN vs. ARI ($11,000): Labanc has started 59.7 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, tops among San Jose forwards. He may only have seven goals, but his 6.9 shooting percentage is considerably lower than his rookie year (11.4), so he might be in for some better luck. Additionally, the 22-year-old has 14 power-play points in 51 games. The Coyotes are on the road for the second night of a back-to-back and have a 4.63 team GAA on zero days of rest. That's the worst in the NHL.

Kyle Palmieri, NJD at PHI ($10,500): Palmieri has eight points and 21 shots on net in his last seven contests. He's also averaged 2:55 per game on the power play, notching 13 points with the extra man in 36 games. That bodes well for Palmieri, as the Flyers have the 29th-ranked penalty kill.

DEFENSEMEN

Ryan Suter, MIN vs. NYR ($11,000): Suter has six points in his last nine games and has put at least three shots on net in five of his last seven outings. The Rangers have a 3.00 team GAA and have allowed 34.0 shots on goal per contest. Plus, in Henrik Lundqvist's last eight contests, he has a 4.03 GAA and an .886 save percentage.

Dustin Byfuglien, WPG vs. WAS ($10,600): The Capitals have been a different team on the road, as they have a 3.48 team GAA away from Washington. Byfuglien has had a bit of a down season, but his 2.9 shooting percentage is largely responsible for that. Things have gone better for Big Buff recently, though, as he has four points in his last six contests. He also has 13 power-play points in 44 games, and the Caps have the 21st-ranked penalty kill on the road.
