Bishop signed an amateur tryout offer with the Maple Leafs on Saturday, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.

Petr Mrazek (groin) is hurt, and the Leafs don't have enough cap space to recall another netminder, so Bishop will serve as Jack Campbell's backup for Saturday's game versus the Senators.
