As part of the return for Paul Stastny, there may be high expectations for Dahlstrom with the Golden Knights. Those aren't likely to come to fruition in 2020-21, as Dahlstrom is unlikely to outplay Nick Holden for a job on Vegas' bottom pairing. With 10 assists in 64 career games, Dahlstrom doesn't project as much of a scoring threat on the off chance he's in the lineup as an injury replacement. The 25-year-old Swede is much more likely to serve as depth this year, whether that's in the press box, on the taxi squad or with AHL Henderson in the minors.
