Here are the recommendations and fades for Saturday's evening slate.
GOALIE
Marc-Andre Fleury, VGK at MON ($29): Fleury's price tag has fallen due to some rocky play, but he looks to be back on track after steering away 33 of 35 shots in Thursday's win over the Oilers. He draws a favorable matchup versus the Habs, who haven't scored more than two goals in a home contest since Dec.11.
GOALIE TO AVOID
Robin Lehner, CHI at TOR ($25): Lehner's been excellent this season and is deserving of a large payday in July, but the Maple Leafs are white hot and won't be stopped. They've accrued 3.46 GF/60 at even strength to begin 2020, per Natural Stat Trick. Lehner's a deceiving value and shouldn't be risked, especially in cash games.
CENTER
Vincent Trocheck, FLA at DET ($19): Trocheck's having a solid season with a 54.4 Corsi For percentage, and he starts a whopping 60.2 percent of shifts in the offensive zone. He's converted to the tune of seven points and 17 shots over the past five games, and he'll be up against the Red Wings' putrid crease.
CENTER TO AVOID
Max Domi, MON vs. VGK ($17): Domi's in a cold spell with five straight scoreless affairs, and it'll be tough to get many chances versus Vegas. The Golden Knights have yielded 1.81 expected goals per 60 in the new year, and Fleury looks like he has turned his game around.
WING
Sam Reinhart, BUF at NSH ($18): When the calendar flipped to 2020, Reinhart kicked his goal scoring up a notch. The 24-year-old has piled up four goals and nine points -- four on the power play -- through seven contests. He'll look to leverage his production with the man advantage against the Predators' penalty kill, which has yielded 15.56 G/60 in January -- 29th in the league.
Blake Coleman, NJ at CLS ($18): Coleman's on a tear right now. He's racked up seven goals over the past five games, and his floor is just as intriguing, as he generated 26 shots on net during that stretch. Even against one of the league's hottest goaltenders in Elvis Merzlikins, Coleman's a supreme value.
WINGS TO AVOID
Viktor Arvidsson, NSH vs. BUF ($20): Arvidsson has posted two points over the last eight outings, exceeding 3.0 fantasy points just three times during that stretch. Reaching his ceiling will be difficult against the Sabres, who have let up 2.25 G/60 at even strength since Jan. 1, while their penalty kill ranks sixth (3.36 GA/60).
Claude Giroux, PHI vs. LA ($21): Giroux has notched just one point over the past five games, and he's directed more than two shots on net just once in January. The Kings rank 18th with 2.54 GA/60 at even strength during the month, which certainly isn't dominant, but Giroux's price tag carries too much risk for his lacking floor.
DEFENSE
John Klingberg, DAL at MIN ($20): Klingberg continues to work on the top pairing and has logged over 24 minutes per game since returning from injury. Going back to before his injury, however, Klingberg has nine points -- five on the power play -- over his past eight games, and he'll be up against Minnesota's 27th-ranked penalty kill (75.5 percent).
Keith Yandle, FLA at DET ($19): Yandle's career year has tapered off a bit, but he teeters on the verge of being a chalky play in this matchup. He's racked up 18 of his 34 points on the power play, and the Red Wings' struggles extend to the penalty kill, as they rank 26th with 11.21 GA/60.
DEFENSEMEN TO AVOID
Shea Theodore, VGK at MON ($18): Theodore has picked up the pace offensively, but he's riding the coattails of the power play as three of his last five points have come with the man advantage. The Habs' penalty kill struggled to begin the year but is on the upswing, ranking third with 3.07 GA/60.
Matt Dumba, MIN vs. DAL ($18): Dumba has compiled just three goals and 10 points this year, and he's recorded a minus-14 rating in the process. Despite logging massive minutes, it'll be tough to overcome the Stars' Ben Bishop, who hasn't let in more than two goals in a game since Dec. 22.
