GOALIE
Mikko Koskinen, EDM vs. LA ($7,900): Despite allowing 16 goals in his past five games, Koskinen remains a brick wall at home, going 3-1-1 in his past five games with a .920 save percentage overall. Jacob Markstrom and Darcy Kuemper are the same price, but both are playing tougher opponents. The Oilers should be able to provide enough goal support even on their worst nights, especially against a team coached by Willie Desjardins and just left behind someone who's scored over 400 career goals.
CENTER
Elias Pettersson, VAN vs. ANA ($6,700): He's looked much better lately and that's partly because Brock Boeser has been excellent with two goals in three games. He hasn't scored since March 15 but during that time he's collected five apples, and with the Canucks dictating the matchups on home ice, he has a really good opportunity to end his drought. Expected starter John Gibson, a Vezina favorite early in the season, has gone 8-11-2 with a .901 save percentage and 3.32 GAA since Jan. 1.
Evan Rodrigues, BUF at OTT ($3,900): He's scored two more points than last season but with 21 more games played, but Rodrigues has been a bright spot for lowly Sabres, now the de facto No. 2 center with Casey Mittelstadt sitting and a lack of other options. The former Boston U star and Eichel's college linemate is fourth among the team's forwards with 160 shots, but he's tenacious and fearless and against a weak opponent like the Sens, Rodrigues could be in for a productive night even though he's scored just once in March.
WING
Alex Ovechkin, WAS vs. CAR ($8,200): There's just two elite wingers available but Patrick Kane is $100 more and the difference between the two is a toss-up. Kane has the edge in points, but Ovechkin has scored more goals and both have exactly 308 shots on goal. None of the wingers in the tier below offer the same kind of upside, and Ovechkin has 89 points in 75 career games against the 'Canes, including four in two games this season.
Brady Tkachuk, OTT vs. BUF ($5,800): He's scored three goals in two games, including a two-goal effort against the Oilers, and faces another embarrassingly bad team on defense. Make no mistake, the Sens are awful, too, allowing 90 goals over the past two months, but that's only just the second-worst in the league – that's right, in last place with 96 goals allowed are the Sabres. Tkachuk has 16 points in his past 25 games and it's the first time he'll face the Sabres in his career.
Troy Terry, ANA at VAN ($3,000): Terry has just four goals in 30 games but he's worth a look, playing over 16 minutes in three of his past five games and playing against a team with a depleted defense that just lost 5-0 to the Blue Jackets. Bob Murray switches up his lines, but Terry, a hero for Team USA at the 2017 World Juniors, is a blue-chip prospect getting top-six minutes, making him a high-upside play.
DEFENSE
Alexander Edler, VAN vs. ANA ($6,100): Edler continues to log a lot of minutes for the Canucks, averaging over 26 minutes per game except for Sunday's 5-0 loss in which he played "just" 23 minutes. He does it all, which means plenty of chances on the power play to ratchet up shot totals and to block shots on the penalty kill. The points have been rolling in lately as well, with six points in his past four games.
Thomas Chabot, OTT vs. BUF ($6,000): Much like Edler, Chabot provides great fantasy value because of the opportunities he gets. He's averaging over 24 minutes this season and played over 27 against the Oilers, and he's in for a heavy workload against Jack Eichel and the Sabres. The edge Chabot has over Edler is his offensive upside and he's playing against weaker competition, and he could easily outperform Shea Weber ($6,300) and John Carlson ($6,500).
