DraftKings NHL: Sunday Playoff Picks

This article is part of our DraftKings NHL series.

Martin Jones, SJ vs. VGK ($7,300): With the season on the line look for Jones and the Sharks to force a Game 7 with a home-ice win. The San Jose backstop has bounced back following each loss of the series, and even with a few uninspiring performances against Vegas, Jones still boasts a rock-solid .926 career save percentage in the Obviously, his salary also jumps out as a discount.

Patrice Bergeron, BOS vs. TB ($7,500): Tampa Bay hasn't been able to slow Bergeron down, and the center is rolling along a five-game point streak with six goals, four assists and 22 shots. With Boston facing elimination, Bergeron should log oodles of ice time, which heightens his already high floor.

Logan Couture, SJ vs. VGK ($5,800): With multi-point showings in three of the past four games for two goals and five assists, Couture is strong value at this salary. As noted, the season is on the line for San Jose, and he's been their best playoff producer dating back to the 2016 run to the Stanley Cup Finals.

David Pastrnak, BOS vs. TB ($7,100): No one has scored more goals or recorded more points than Pastrnak from this player pool in the postseason. He's locked in with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand in all situations, and the trio has combined for 6.87 goals per 60 minutes and a dominant 73.05 Corsi For percentage. Pastrnak checks out as a lineup building block considering the reasonable salary and the must-win situation.

Tomas Hertl, SJ vs. VGK ($4,900): The Czech has been a force in the second season with six goals, three assists and 30 shots through nine contests, and he's also found the scoresheet in eight of those contests. Hertl's also been on the ice for an impressive 4.98 goals and 24.52 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes. His price hasn't caught up to his improved production.

Yanni Gourde, TB at BOS ($4,000): Not only has Gourde marked the scoresheet in all four games of the series, he's also driving possession with a 61.62 Corsi For percentage at five-on-five. Considering his current form, there's plenty of profit potential in this salary.

Brent Burns, SJ vs. VGK ($6,400): Look for a bounce-back showing after Burns' three-game point streak was snapped last time out. He's the top defenseman in the player pool, and his salary is manageable. It's also worth paying up for his reliable floor. Burns has recorded 30 shots and 17 blocked shots through nine playoff games, which adds value with just two games on the docket.

Charlie McAvoy, BOS vs. TB ($4,200): With Torey Krug (lower body) already ruled out for Game 5, McAvoy's upside soars. The rookie hasn't recorded a shot in consecutive games despite topping 25 minutes in both contests, but the extended offensive role -- including potentially quarterbacking the No. 1 power-play unit -- positions him for a rebound showing.
