2023 Fantasy Outlook
The Browns went into the offseason with the goal of giving Deshaun Watson more weapons on offense, and the additions of Elijah Moore and Marquise Goodwin are a start. Cleveland can trot out Amari Cooper, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Moore and Goodwin when it wants to run four-wide sets, so it's hard to see the team giving Schwartz, who has had the offseason to recover from a concussion he sustained last December, more chances after the 2021 third-round selection has disappointed over his first two seasons. Along with Schwartz, one can add Demetric Felton and Michael Woods onto the pile of wideouts that shouldn't get much work if they manage to stick with the team. Read Past Outlooks

Nabs reserve/future deal with Miami
The Dolphins signed Schwartz to a reserve/future contract Monday.
ANALYSIS
Schwartz played with the Browns in each of his first two NFL seasons, recording 14 catches on 33 targets for 186 yards and a touchdown over 25 games and adding 96 yards and a touchdown on 10 rushes. He also worked as a kick returner in his rookie campaign, recording 322 yards in that role. The 2021 third-round draft pick suffered a hamstring injury during training camp last season and was eventually waived by Cleveland before joining Miami's practice squad in mid-November. He'll now have a chance to compete for a spot on the team's active roster during training camp this summer.

Likely cut candidate
Schwartz is in danger of being jettisoned off the Browns' roster during final cuts, Eric Edholm of NFL.com opines.
ANALYSIS
The speedy third-year pro hasn't developed as envisioned since the Browns invested a third-round pick on him back in 2021. Schwartz has just 14 receptions for 186 yards and a touchdown, 96 yards and another score on 10 carries and 322 yards on kickoff returns over 25 career regular-season games. Schwartz has also brought in only five of 14 targets for 40 yards through three preseason games this summer while also losing a fumble on one of his two rush attempts. Factoring in USFL alum Austin Watkins has turned plenty of heads with his play through the first three exhibitions and David Bell is likely to earn at least one more year after his third-round selection in 2022, Edholm figures Schwartz has likely played his way off the roster.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2021
Schwartz is a mystery entering his second NFL season. The 2021 third-round pick out of Auburn missed most of training camp due to a hamstring injury and wasn't up to speed once the regular season began. The opportunity was there with Odell Beckham missing the first couple of weeks, but Schwartz didn't capitalize, ultimately finishing his rookie campaign with just 10 catches on 23 targets for 135 yards and a TD in 14 contests. This coming season he'll compete with Donovan Peoples-Jones for a starting wideout spot opposite Amari Cooper. If Schwartz can stay healthy and gets on board with the team's offense, he has a chance to emerge as a home run threat for Cleveland. The 6-foot, 186-pounder is more suited to working outside the numbers, but if Schwartz loses out to Peoples-Jones, he'll have to battle for snaps with 2022 third-rounder David Bell, a slot receiver out of Purdue who the team feels is ready to contribute right away.
