2019 Fantasy Outlook
Jarwin was set up for a potential breakout season in 2019 following a promising showing in 2018, but the unretirement of Jason Witten puts a heavy cap on Jarwin's snap and target upside. If Witten should fall out of the way for whatever reason, though, Jarwin might thrive again, as he did at times in the second half of 2018. Jarwin's main headline was a 119-yard, three-touchdown game against the Giants in Week 17, his second seven-catch performance in a span of four contests. After turning 36 targets into 27 catches for 307 yards and three touchdowns last year, Jarwin holds some long-term promise despite the complicated 2019 outlook with Witten back in the picture. Catches two passes in loss
TEDallas Cowboys
October 15, 2019
Jarwin caught two of four targets for six total yards during Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Jarwin was held under 10 yards for the second time in three games as the Cowboys continue to slide. Jarwin is far from the Cowboys' top target on a good day, but the fact is that Dallas hasn't had many good days lately. Dak Prescott's quarterback rating during the three-game losing streak is 82.7, down from 128.0 during the first three weeks of the season. Jarwin and the rest of Dallas' targets are going to have trouble making strides until the dimension of the offense changes. Fortunately, a struggling Eagles defense is on deck for Sunday.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Jarwin didn't get onto the field as a rookie last year, but it was an encouraging sign that the undrafted free agent was promoted from the practice squad at all, in a move rumored to have been prompted by the Eagles' interest in him. He fits the mold of a Cowboys backup tight end, flashing the potential to be a difference maker as a blocker without being a complete non-factor as a receiver, but with Jason Witten headed to the broadcast booth, the team may need him to develop into something more than that. Jarwin will get a chance to inherit a large share of Witten's snaps, but barring a very impressive preseason showing, his fantasy upside seems minimal.
