The Eagles are hoping to get healthier seasons from DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery in 2020, but the aging wideouts haven't exactly been reliable from a medical standpoint. Thus, it won't come as a huge surprise if the team ends up relying on Ward and first-round pick Jalen Reagor, along with tight ends Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert. Granted, other reports have suggested Ward is closer to the roster bubble than he is to a key role on offense.

Rookie first-rounder DeVonta Smith overtaking him was no surprise, but he also slipped behind second-year sixth-rounder Quez Watkins. With the Eagles adding A.J. Brown as well this offseason, Ward's path to significant playing time seems murky. At best, he'll be competing with Zach Pascal and Jalen Reagor to serve as the team's fourth wideout, making him a low-ceiling, low-floor option.
