Robison spent his entire 11-year career in Minnesota after the team drafted him in the fourth round in 2007. He missed just three games in his career and started 95 contests from 2011 to 2016, ultimately finishing with 206 tackles, 60 sacks and 13 forced fumbles during his career.

Robison is entering his 12th NFL campaign and is likely to retire at the end of the season. At age 35, he won't get many snaps but is still a valuable backup as he posted four sacks in 2017.
Although the reliable 34-year-old signed a contract extension through 2018 with the Vikings, Robison will begin to see a decline in his snap count -- even if he continues to start games -- with the emergence of third-year defensive end Danielle Hunter, who racked up a team-high 12.5 sacks opposite Everson Griffen last season. The team also signed former Packer Datone Jones in free agency to provide depth at the position behind Robison.
Robison has missed just one game since the beginning of the 2009 season, as he's become a key factor on the Vikings' defensive line. During the 2015 season, he recorded 34 tackles, five sacks, and one forced fumble in 16 games played. Now 33 years old, the team may begin slightly reducing his snap count, especially given the come-up of second-year defensive end Danielle Hunter. Expect Robison to remain the starter opposite Everson Griffen throughout the season given his lack of an injury history.
Robison suffered a pectoral injury while working out last spring and it's not clear if he'll be completely ready for Week 1. Coming off a disappointing 4.5-sack, 24-tackle season, Robison is expected to start at left defensive end. He averaged 8.5 sacks and 39.3 tackles from 2011 to 2013.
Robison had a career-high nine sacks last season. He'll be counted on as Minnesota's top pass rushing threat after the departure of Jared Allen. He'll start at left defensive end.
Robison recorded 8.5 sacks last season and is projected to start at DE opposite Jared Allen in 2013.
Robinson is the backup to Jared Allen at strong side defensive end. He had 14 tackles, 2.5 sacks along with a forced fumble in 2008, but do not expect any fantasy impact from Robinson in an IDP league in 2009.
Robison should serve as Minnesota's primary backup at defensive end behind both Jared Allen and Ray Edwards. He reached 4.5 sacks last season, a number he could again approach in 2008, and would see his value increase greatly if one of the two starters were to get hurt.
The rookie Robinson will serve as a pass-rush specialist and special teams player for the Vikings.
