ANALYSIS
Ramirez has thrown just 14.2 MLB innings over the last three seasons, missing most of 2018 and 2019 due to Tommy John surgery before failing to make the Angels' active roster in 2020. He's been a successful pitcher at times during his major-league career, however, and even his 4.71 ERA in 288.1 innings at the highest level is significantly better than that of many others who head to the CPBL. Whether or not that figure still reflects his true ability remains to be seen.
