Hilton was held to 26 yards on eight receptions but returned a punt 97 yards for a touchdown Saturday in a rout of rival Florida Atlantic.
ANALYSIS
Redshirt fresman Jake Medlock started at quarteback, so maybe that had something to do with Hilton's sparse output. Hilton leads the Sun Belt with 858 receiving yards but has only scored five touchdowns through the air. His last three games have been mediocre after a string of strong games.

Hilton has had no trouble establishing himself as one of the nation’s best playmakers over the last three years. Whether it’s as a receiver, runner or returner, he gets the job done. He only had 848 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games as a receiver last year, but his 282 yards and four touchdowns as a runner (as well as two kick return touchdowns) made him a big fantasy asset. Despite never playing with a quarterback who threw for better than 2,623 yards or 16 touchdowns in a year, Hilton still has a total of 2,867 yards from scrimmage and 29 total touchdowns to his name.
Hilton is the country's best wideouts that no one's heard of. He had just 57 receptions for 632 yards and five touchdowns last year (as well as a kickoff return for a touchdown), but as a freshman in 2008 he caught 41 passes for an incredible 1,013 yards and seven touchdowns, returned a punt for a touchdown, returned a kick for a touchdown, ran for two touchdowns and threw for a touchdown. Seriously. Obviously, the secret is out at this point and every team that faces Florida Internationl makes stopping Hilton priority No. 1, but watch out for Hilton to bounce back this year. It wouldn't surprise if he winds up the best receiver option in the Sun Belt.
