Catches on with Kentucky
February 8, 2021
Kentucky announced Feb. 3 that Fulton will be part of the Wildcats' 2021 signing class, joining the program as a transfer from Michigan State, Chris Fisher of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The linebacker left Michigan State in late November without having ever recorded a tackle during his two years with the Spartans. After taking a redshirt as a true freshman in 2019, Fulton had been serving an indefinite suspension for the 2020 season following his Sept. 8 arrest on an aggravated assault charge. He later pled guilty to misdemeanor assault and battery, then chose to enter the transfer portal instead of pursuing reinstatement at Michigan State. He should be able to compete immediately at Kentucky in 2021 with four years of eligibility remaining.
