September 15, 2020
LSU head coach Ed Orgeron confirmed Tuesday that Farrell will play for the Tigers in 2020 after previously opting out of the season, Glenn Guilbeau of the Lafayette Daily Advertiser reports.

After taking some time to think about his decision, however, Farrell informed Orgeron and the coaching staff that he was ready to resume playing this fall. A projected starter at defensive end for LSU, Farrell led all Tigers linemen in tackles (46) and tackles for loss (seven) while also recording three sacks.
