Finds home at Hawaii
Stack committed Tuesday to join Hawaii as a transfer from Oregon, James Crepea of The Oregonian reports.
ANALYSIS
Stack connected on six of 10 field-goal attempts and went 36-for-36 on extra-point tries as Oregon's primary kicker in 2018, but he ended up losing out on the top job to freshman Camden Lewis in 2019. He still went on to drill all seven of his extra-point attempts in two games last season before leaving the program in September. Stack will have two years of eligibility remaining as he heads to his home state of Hawaii, and he could have a decent chance at earning a waiver from the NCAA to compete right away for the Rainbow Warriors. While the coronavirus pandemic remains an ongoing concern, the NCAA is expected to be more lenient in issuing transfers to players moving to schools closer to their home state.
