Soderberg announced Feb. 25 that he transferred from Washington to Division II Central Washington, The Ellensburg Daily Record reports.
ANALYSIS
Soderberg elected to drop down a level for his final season of eligibility after he missed most of 2018 with a hip injury, then the entirety of the 2019 campaign after he required surgery last winter to address the matter. He should be healthy as he heads to the Division II school, where he'll likely have the opportunity to see the field regularly. During his time at Washington, Soderberg served as the Huskies' kickoff specialist for the first six games of 2017 before later handling place-kicking duties that season. He drilled all 10 of his extra-point attempts and one of his three field-goal tries.
