Retires from football
August 5, 2021
Peters (leg) has retired from football and joined the staff as a graduate assistance, SB Nation reports.
ANALYSIS
Peters had another year of eligibility he could have used, but elected to help the team in a different fashion in 2021 on the coaching staff. That will turn the reigns most likely over to Carter Bradley to lead the offense this season.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Peters started six games last year in place of an injured Mitch Guadagni last season, with multiple passing touchdowns in four of them and more than 260 passing yards three times. Guadagni will start as long as he is healthy, but 2018 proved that to be a real coin flip and Peters would be an immediate deep league fantasy asset running Jason Candle's offense.
