Pruitt noted that Fils-aime, a redshirt senior, could return to the team in January, when he would be able to begin preparations for the 2021 season in what would be his sixth and final year of eligibility. Fils-aime earned his degree over the summer, so he could also pursue options elsewhere as a graduate transfer, if he doesn't choose to forgo his remaining eligibility entirely. Since joining the program in 2016, the running back has appeared in 33 games, recording 327 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns.
