2018 Fantasy Outlook
King followed the Greg Ward blueprint of starting out at receiver for the Cougs only to supplant a high recruit at quarterback. And, like Ward, King proved to be a natural. He took over in October and completed 64 percent of his passes for 1,238 yards, six TDs and two picks. King also proved to be a rushing threat with a nose for the end zone, racking up eight rushing touchdowns. King won't have his top wideouts from last season, but he's more experienced and will be the do-it-all threat in Houston's offense. Read Past Outlooks

Knee
March 19, 2019
King (knee) is close to fully recovered but will be brought along slowly in spring practice, Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle reports.
ANALYSIS
Coach Dana Holgorsen talked with reporters after Tuesday's practice session and noted that most of Houston's quarterbacks will be shielded from live contact this spring. King, who is working his way back from a torn meniscus in November, is the key to the Houston offense and will be treated with caution until he's fully ready for contact.
