Earns starting role for Week 4
September 16, 2019
Griffin-Stewart has replaced Will Gragg as the Panthers' starting tight end in Week 4, Craig Meyer of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
ANALYSIS
After being shut down in Week 1 for zero catches, Griffin-Stewart has logged five catches for 61 yards over the last two contests and has proven to be the better fit for this offense over previous starter Will Gragg. Nakia-Stewart only had 13 total catches during his time at Rutgers and is making a splash right away as a graduate transfer member of this Pittsburgh offense. He should see some more opportunities in Week 4 against a tough UCF opponent.
