Signs with Texas Tech
RBTexas Tech
April 17, 2019
Shyne has joined Texas Tech as a graduate transfer.
ANALYSIS
Shyne spent the beginning of his career with Utah, but with Zack Moss ahead of him on the depth chart, it seemed unlikely that Shyne was going to get many carries in his senior season. As a result, he's moved on to join the Red Raiders, who are going to be looking to establish a running game more this year than in the past with the move at head coach from Kliff Kingsbury to Matt Wells. As a graduate transfer, Shyne is eligible immediately and is likely towards the top of the depth chart.
