The Terps hadn't gotten much production from their tight ends this season prior to Edwards' outburst on Saturday, where he hauled in touchdowns of 12 and 22 yards. Those two touchdowns equal Maryland's total from its tight ends last season. With a lack of truly established players at that position, Edwards could make a quick ascension to the Terps' top tight end if he can build upon Saturday's impressive outing.
