Cannella was second on the TIgers in receiving touchdowns in 2018, scoring three times through the air. Unfortunately, he was not very productive otherwise, finishing his junior campaign with only 12 catches for 111 yards. There will be a new quarterback under center this season with the steady Jarrett Stidham off to the NFL, so there could be some growing pains in the passing game as well. Cannella does line up at wide receiver at times, and the Tigers do have some available targets with the depaturtures of Ryan Davis and Darius Slayton, but it is unlikely that Cannella is the one to fill that void.
