ANALYSIS
This comes as a surprise as Driskel had a year of eligibility remaining and looked to be a lock to start for the Owls in 2018 after a prolific 2017 in which he threw for 2,247 yards and 15 touchdowns while adding eight touchdowns on the ground. De'Andre Johnson and Daniel Parr are the holdovers from last year's roster who seem to have the best chance at winning the starting job, but other candidates could emerge in the spring and summer, such as ex-Oklahoma Sooner signee Chris Robison.
