Doesn't make trip Saturday
Undisclosed
November 18, 2017
Grant did not make the trip to Saturday's game at Indiana due to an undisclosed injury, Keith Sargeant of NJ.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Grant has been nursing injuries throughout the year, playing in just seven games, recording 16 catches for 167 yards and one touchdown. It appears whatever he's dealing with currently is giving him significant discomfort. As a result of his absence, Dacoven Bailey is a candidate to see increased targets.

2016 Fantasy Outlook
Grant is the kind of small and shifty slot receiver that can do some serious damage in Rutgers’ new uptempo spread offense this fall. He was arguably the most electric playmaker on the roster last season, accounting for three kick returns for touchdown, one punt return touchdown, and one touchdown reception. Aside from being a difference maker in the return game, Grant should step into a more pronounced role in the offense this season thanks to a scheme change and the departure of star wide receiver Leonte Carroo. His production as a receiver last season was underwhelming to the untrained eye as he caught 35 passes for just 352 yards, but a player that can post four special teams scores can certainly average more than 10 yards per reception in the right circumstance. Grant’s target volume should increase in the new system and it’s a system that will likely emphasize getting the ball in his hands with some room to run.
