His night ended on a horsecollar tackle at the end of a long run in the fourth quarter, but Hood still had an impressive outing overall. He tore off several long runs and also punched in a goal-line opportunity for a touchdown. Hood overtook fellow junior Ryquell Armstead as Temple's lead back down the stretch and finished the year with a team-high 638 yards and five touchdowns. He should have the inside track at the starting job heading into 2018.
