Five grabs to finish season
WREdmonton
November 18, 2019
Smith secured five of six targets for 40 yards during the Eskimos' 36-16 loss to the Tiger-Cats in Sunday's Eastern Division Final.
ANALYSIS
Smith filled his usual complementary role in the defeat, checking in third in both receptions and receiving yardage to DaVaris Daniels and Greg Ellingson. The CFL rookie enjoyed a very successful season relative to his spot in the pass-catching pecking order in Edmonton, posting a 55-632-6 line on 80 targets across 17 games. Just 26 years old, Smith appears to have a bright future and will look to build on his numbers in 2020.
