Barrett's potential is much more promising now due to the potential opportunities ahead of him. St. Mary's will no longer have Alex Ducas and Mason Forbes college-eligible, leaving at least one vacancy in the Gaels' primary frontcourt. During their 2023-24 season, Barrett played at least 25 minutes six times, averaging 11.2 points and 6.8 rebounds. The output can be prevalent if he is used much more during his 2024-25 season.
