Eli Rice

As an employee of VCU, Penn State's head coach Mike Rhoades tried to help the Rams sign Rice from IMG Academy. He eventually enrolled at Nebraska. However, the two "re-established a connection" that resulted in Rice's commitment to Penn State. The freshman is "confident in his versatility and toughness" as a student athlete. Rice can log many minutes playing Penn State's guard and forward positions, especially now that his ankle has recovered from its long-term sprain he suffered during January.
