Drops 42 in CAA semifinal
GHofstra
March 11, 2019
Wright-Foreman racked up 42 points (15-30 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 9-12 FT) to go along with five rebounds, three assists and two steals in Monday's 78-74 OT victory over Delaware.
ANALYSIS
It was a wild performance where the senior scored nearly a point per minute, but Wright-Foreman is no stranger to huge scoring outputs. He scored 48 in a Feb. 9 win over William & Mary, and followed that up with efforts of 30 or more points in four of his next five games. On the year he's averaging 26.5 PPG, which is even better than his ridiculous mark of 24.4 PPG set in his junior season. Wright-Foreman and the Pride will now take on Northeastern in the CAA Championship game Tuesday with a trip to the NCAA Tournament on the line. Should Hofstra end up going dancing, Wright-Foreman would be an incredibly attractive short-term fantasy asset due to his ability to go off any given night.
