Caroline tallied seven points (2-11 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-7 FT), 10 rebounds and a blocked shot across 38 minutes in Thursday's 70-61 loss to Florida in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
As expected, Carline rejoined the starting lineup after an illness sidelined him for their last game. The senior's shot was woefully off the mark for most of the game, although he did help under the basket with 10 rebounds. The game script that haunted Nevada during the second half of the season reared its ugly head, as they once again were forced to rely on a second-half charge to make up for their sluggish start out of the gate. The Gators refused to relent and denied Nevada the win. Caroline will likely be a name to watch in this summer's NBA Draft.
