Returns off bench with seven points
GColorado State
January 24, 2019
Masinton-Bonner (Achilles) accumulated seven points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and two rebounds in 20 minutes of action Wednesday against Nevada.
ANALYSIS
The junior guard strained his Achilles earlier in the month and missed two games as a result, but he managed to return in a limited capacity Wednesday night. Masinton-Bonner played much fewer minutes than he's accustomed to, and he even came off the bench, though his 20 minutes suggest his Achilles injury is nearly a thing of the past. He has a couple days to rest up for Saturday's game against Fresno State, so there's a decent chance he could see even more minutes now that he's warmed the injured area back up to game shape.
