Barefield recorded 29 points (11-22 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 2-3 FT) to go along with three rebounds and a steal across 38 minutes in Saturday's 92-81 victory over UCLA.
Barefield leads the Utes with an average of 3.8 assists, but did it all himself in Saturday's home victory. The senior has been heating up as a scorer throughout conference play, averaging 19.3 points over his last 14 games. Barefield and the Utes have quietly played their way into third place in the conference, but still likely need to win the Pac-12 tournament in order to go dancing in 2019. It will be Barefield's last chance to secure a tournament berth after a couple of NIT stints earlier in his Utah career.
