Brown, who recently transferred from George Washington University, will be eligible to play for Niagara this season, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown didn't do much for GWU as a freshman, averaging just 0.5 points and 0.7 rebounds in 29 games, but he was a pretty decent point guard recruit coming out of high school in New Hampshire and should get more opportunity given that Niagara's in the middle of a rebuild under new coach Patrick Beilein. Brown was granted an eligibility waiver to play immediately because the coach that recruited him to George Washington was fired after Brown's single season there, so he'll suit up as a sophomore immediately in 2019-20.
