Bieniemy posted a career-high 22 points (5-6 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 8-10 FT) and added six assists, three rebounds, one block, and a steal in the win over West Virginia on Saturday.
Bieniemy has now started the last 12 games for the Sooners. He is much more of a facilitator than a scorer, but caught fire from behind the arc on Saturday and found his way to the line a whopping ten times. What's crazy about that is that Bieniemy had taken a combined 12 free-throw attempts all season prior to this game. The freshman will look to keep it rolling on Tuesday when the Sooners host Kansas in what will be an important game for Oklahoma's NCAA Tournament hopes.
