Nowell led the team with 22 points (9-19 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT) to go along with five rebounds, two assists and a steal during Thursday's 14-point win over Stanford.
The Washington standout has only slightly improved his scoring output from his freshman campaign, but Nowell has upped both his rebounding and assisting totals by significant margins in his second year. With another 22-point performance, Nowell has now notched six 20-plus point games this season. The sophomore has only failed to reach double-figures in three contests. Nowell's 16.7 PPG usually travel with him on a game-to-game basis. Whether he can continue to rebound and assist at rates of 5.2 RPG and 3.5 APG, respectively, remains to be the bigger unknown.
