Wright led all Colorado starters with 13 points (5-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go along with seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 33 minutes in Wednesday's loss to Washington State.
Like much of the Pac-12 this season, Wright and the Buffaloes are largely afterthoughts in the overall college basketball landscape. That's not to take away from a productive season, however, especially of late. Over his last five games, Wright is producing averages of 16.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists. He'll need to continue this pace in order to keep his statistical trajectory in order, as both his scoring and assist numbers are down slightly from his freshman campaign. The entire primary rotation for Colorado could return next season if they choose, so even if they don't make the tournament this season, the Buffaloes will be a team to keep an eye on in 2019-20.
