Hachimura had 21 points (8-15 FG, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block in Thursday's first-round victory over Fairleigh Dickinson in the NCAA Tournament.
Hachimura and company strolled to an 87-49 win over the Knights in Salt Lake City. The big fella did most of his damage in the first half, totaling 14 of his 21 points within the first 17 minutes of game time. He will need to be on point Saturday evening when the Bulldogs take on Baylor and its zone defense, so expect to see Hachimura get a solid open of looks from the soft spot around the free-throw stripe. Across 33 games this year, Hachimura is averaging 20.1 points and 6.6 rebounds.
