Stanley Cup Playoffs: Game 7, Here We Come

  • Tuukka Rask. Calm, cool, collected. He's come a long way since he smashed his stick and threw a milk crate in that AHL game 10 years ago. #ConnSmythe
  • Boring. Sunday's game lacked something. Say, energy?! Maybe I've just been spoiled by #WeTheNorth #NBARaptors.

  • The Blues' power play is big and they sure can fire the puck. But they move it far too slowly. One PPG in six games? C'mon.
  • Still, I'll bet the Blues are pretty happy they didn't trade Colton Parayko in December.
  • Karson Kuhlman hadn't played since April 30. That was a goal-scorer's goal. And his speed gave David Krejci's game a lift. Kuhlman needs to dress for Game 7, not David Backes.
  • The Perfection Line has been far from it. Thirteen points total in six games, but five of them came in a single game (June 1). Yet the series is still tied. Crazy.
  • Separated at birth: Blues Chairman Tom Stillman and Beaker from the Muppets. That downward smile is uncanny.
  • One-hundred-thousand fans crammed the street outside the Blues' arena. I wish they could have celebrated history at home.
  • The Bruins are whiny. But I like their chances at home in Game 7.
  • And to think the Bruins might have lifted the Cup Sunday if not for that missed call on the Tyler Bozak slew foot in Game 5.
