Vegas NHL hospitality ... to a point

  • Four, two-point games in his last six games. And nine multi-point games in his last 11. Never doubt Mark Scheifele's speed, size and skill. I am so glad I own him in a dynasty league.
  • Jonathan Marchessault is definitely the one that got away. From the Panthers AND the Bolts. Can you imagine if he gets to the next round and they don't?

  • The Golden Knights had an answer for everything Wednesday night. This team really is for real.
  • How many pucks can Kuznetsov shoot if Kuznetsov could shoot pucks? Answer? 12. Alexander the Gr8 is HOF-bound, but the Caps belong to another Russian stud.
  • Quietest eight-game scoring streak? Victor Hedman. He got the Bolts the win. And he'll be the reason the Bolts get back in the series. If they do.
  • Early Conn Smythe leaders? Scheifele, Marchessault, Kuznetsov and Marc-Andre Fleury. The Bolts need to do more for me to elevate one of them to this group. Hedman might be the closest. Kucherov is starting to come on.
  • Speaking of Fleury -- was he giving Blake Wheeler a wet willy? Please don't Marchand this, Flower.
  • Vegas is one class act. The anthem singer allowed the crowd to yell out "true north," just like they do in the Peg. This city gets hospitality, other than winning of course.
