Biggest surprises early on:

Will Phil Kessel keep up this pace or will Toronto make the playoffs?

Erik Karlsson raking in the points, 13 in 12 games so far. Have to think 60-65 more likely than a point-per game, although Ottawa.

Can't see Giroux falling off in Philly. Kid is outstanding. Great vision, hockey sense and strong on his skates for a smaller player. Most Philly fans I talk with are quite happy about Carter being traded.

Any other paces that can continue or will most definitely go bust?
